Coaching for Managers
“To be a successful executive, one must be able to take charge of his/her authoritative role comfortably, to manage the inevitable ambivalence of subordinates and the rivalry of peers and superiors, and to avoid being caught up in the regressive behavior of the work group he/she leads.”
Harry Levinson, The Levinson Institute, Harvard Business Review
Coaching for Functional and Cross Functional Management Teams
In a changing global market, it is crucial that cross functional and functional teams communicate needs and expectations in clear concise terms.
Strategic Planning
Strategic planning is an essential undertaking for any enterprise if it is to successfully navigate the uncertain and unknown territory that lies ahead.
Participants are actively engaged as a group throughout the process, sometimes in smaller, rotating dyads. This approach allows for a range of ideas and opinions to emerge and be considered.
Experiential Team Development for Functional and Cross Functional Teams
Team-building training sessions are experiential – “hands-on” – and are designed to develop stronger more supportive teams capable of dealing with challenging situations and decision-making. Team-building training allows participants to be more aware and confident of their role in a group and how they can be most effective in contributing to team performance.
Recent programs we have run for our clients include:
General Dynamics
Our work at the Red Lion plant in York, PA, is focusing on improving and better integrating cross function teams to contribute significantly more to the company’s lean management goals.
